Do I need to know how to pose?
Not at all! Exactly the same as with our standard boudoir experiences, we’ll guide you through posing step-by-step with demonstrations and cues that will make the process fun and effortless. By the time you’re finished, you’ll likely be sick of us telling you to point your toes and arch your back - but they’re small tips/techniques you’ll be able to take away for your own self-portraits as well.
Where will the session be?
We have a dedicated home boudoir studio space with a range of different sets to allow for variety in your final gallery, and to take the stress out of having to find/book a hotel suite! However, if you have a particular style in mind and would like to run your session out of a hotel/AirBnb, we’re always happy to discuss that too. We recommend locations with big windows, lots of natural light, and interesting features to add dimension. Selecting/booking a hotel room is arranged by the client.
Who selects the final images?
You do! After your session, we’ll provide you with an online gallery of enhanced raw images. You can then select your favourites to be retouched. If you’re feeling unsure as to which photos to choose, we can also discuss/offer suggestions to help narrow down your choices at no extra cost.
Can my images be anonymous/non-identifying?
Definitely - we know the importance of anonymity to many of our clients, and can achieve this through: posing during the session, removal of identifying tattoos/features via retouching, blurring of faces, etc. Let us know what suits you best, and we’ll tailor your images to what you need.
Can I go fully topless/nude?
You absolutely can! We can do tasteful implied nudity (e.g. white sheet images) or artistic nude portraiture, as well as images that are a bit sexier and more raunchy if that’s what you’re after. But you also never have to be naked if you don’t want to - it’s 100% down to what you want with your images, and what you feel comfortable with. You can wear as much or as little clothing as you feel suits you best.
Do you offer hair & makeup services?
We do - we work with a range of highly skilled professional hair and make-up artists, and this service can be added-on to your photoshoot/video shoot experience as an optional extra.
What is your turnaround time? And how will my images be delivered?
You’ll receive your full gallery of enhanced raw images within 1-2 weeks of the photoshoot, and retouched images generally within 1-4 weeks (depending on the number of photos) after you make your selections. However, we’ll always try to work to your timeline and can discuss rush orders if you need your images sooner. You’ll receive your images in an online gallery for your convenience.
Will my images be private/confidential?
Your privacy is incredibly important to us. This decision is absolutely down to you and what you feel comfortable with - we will never share ANY photos without your written consent. We always love the photos we take and it’s a pleasure being able to share them online as part of our portfolio. We have a range of options for sharing images, whether that is to keep your images completely private, to share some of them (e.g. particular photos, or anonymous/de-identified ones only), or to share all of them. We’ll spend time discussing your preference around this after you’ve had a chance to see your full gallery and place your order.
